Your child is already using AI. Are you ready?
Our AI-Ready Families Workshop helps parents understand what children are really doing with AI, and what to say at home. Plain English, no judgement.
What parents learn
A practical 60 to 90 minute session, with phones out and real examples.
- What AI actually is, and how children are using it
- AI and homework: support or cheating?
- AI "friends" and chatbots that always say yes
- Deepfakes, fake news and scams
- Keeping your child's information private
- Family rules that actually work
- Using AI yourself, safely and usefully
Three golden rules to start tonight
1. Keep it private
No full names, school, address or photos in AI apps.
2. Check it
AI sounds sure even when it's wrong. Check with a grown-up or a trusted source.
3. Tell someone
If an app says something that feels wrong, your child tells a trusted adult. No trouble, ever.
Your part
Ask, don't ban: "What do you use it for? Can you show me?" Curiosity keeps them talking to you.
